Teacher Training Programme
The capacity and skills building programme for young adults has been a most important
innovation in the annual programme of the JYOC. The programme responds to the need for music and teacher training for post-matric students who are all members of our orchestras and ensembles. In order to build the company’s capacity, as well as train these musicians, we develop their teaching and musical ability in order to ensure effective skills transfer and quality teaching.
The Teacher Training Programme is managed by Lex Futshane. Classes are held every Tuesday and students receive tuition in Music Business, Aural, Sound Technology, Keyboard, Recorder, Instrumental Training and Ensemble.
