Play It Again Foundation
If you have a musical instrument which you no longer need or use, you might consider donating it to the Play it Again Foundation where it will be given to a worthy musician in need of an instrument.
The Play it Again Foundation is unique in that it operates solely as an intermediary between donor and recipient. There is no money involved. We have been able to operate through the kindness of the following organisations:
- The Agency for Advertising and Marketing who produced radio and T.V. commercials as part of their social responsibility. One of these television commercials was very successful and won many categories in the 2004 Vuka Awards.
- Various radio and Television stations have provided free air-time.
- Stuttafords Van Lines collects and delivers the instruments for us completely free of charge and have recently transported 35 keyboards donated by St Pauls School in Leicester, United Kingdom.
Your instrument will help a young musician who is unable to afford their own instrument. All the instruments are passed on to young musicians who have proved their ability and commitment to music. If you have an instrument lying unloved and unplayed, donate it to the Play It Again Foundation and you will be helping to further the ends of music education and make a young musician very happy.
In existence since 2003, The Play it Again Foundation has helped many youngsters. Whether it be a recorder or a piano there is always someone somewhere who could benefit from it, so please contact us, and we will make an arrangement to have the instrument collected. We are also willing to accept sheet music, music stands and any other music accessories.
