Duo Zappa.Mainolfi
Massimiliano Mainolfi (piano) and Mattia Zappa (cello) formed the Duo Zappa.Mainolfi in 1994. These two fine musicians have toured extensively in Europe, the UK and USA. In addition to giving thousands of people tremendous pleasure through their performances, they have an enormous heart for musical development among the young people in South Africa.To this end, they have raised money through their performances to help our young musicians to realise and develop their talent.
The JYOC is in the process of establishing a trust account to ensure the long term financial sustainability of music education in Johannesburg. The contribution from the Duo Zappa.Mainolfi will be the first deposit into this account. In addition, Matt and Massi have agreed to become patrons of the JYOC and in so doing will help create greater awareness of the work that we do.
